"What I've Been Looking For" -High School Musical
After two snow days, I returned to school to find my blank class scheduling forms on the top shelf of my locker. As you may know, I got the forms to fill out my senior schedule last week. (Lets just say I'm big on procrastination). Once i finally broke down and took a look at the classes that could be in my future, I came across a class I'm really interested in taking. It is a Biotechnology program through West Shore in Lakewood. Almost all of their programs are two years, which means I would have had to start taking classes last year. Luckily, this class is the only one year class for seniors only, and the page with the description of the class was accidentally printed twice in the course selection guide... I think it's fate. Anyway, I talked with my counselor this morning and she thought I would love the class and that I should definitely do it. She scheduled a day for me to shadow the class next week so I can decide if I want to take it next year or not. It seems really cool and it's college credit. My counselor said last year the class grew ears on mice. I thought that was kind of creepy, but if they can grow ears on mice, who knows what we will do in the class next year. Under the list of career fields this class applies to, every single one of the careers I'm looking into was listed. I decided to fill out an application. I think I may have just made a decision!!! One down, a ton more to go.
